  1. Long pants and boots, BDUs recommended
  2. K-9 and Leash
  3. Change of clothes (Recommended)
  4. Choke flat collars only / No pinch or electronic collars. No exceptions will be made.

Event Layout:
The event will consist of a simulation exercise and a competition in an arena type setting. Areas of competition will be obedience, obstacles, and an apprehension drill.

Awards:
Awards will be given out to the top teams in each category.

  • Obedience
  • Criminal Apprehension
  • Top Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd
  • Most Experienced Handler
  • Most Experienced K-9
  • Obstacles

Entry:
All registrations must be received by September 17, 2022. Entry fee is $25.00 and is limited to the first 35 teams on a first come first serve basis. Please be considerate of those organizing the event and be prompt.

THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN ONLY TO FULL TIME LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS.

Other Information:
No walkthrough on Friday. Participants must check in with scorers to receive instructions for the day’s events. ANYONE CAUGHT ON COMPETITION FIELD PRIOR TO EVENT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
